2024 ACA Hill Day - May 15 – 16, 2024

Grants will be applied for and given to graduate students.

  • The applicant must be a graduate student and ACA member in good standing.
  • Each applicant must register for the 2024 ACA Hill Day. Funds will not be issued until registration has been received.
  • Grant funds are to be used for travel and hotel only, not for registration.

Grant Reconciliation Information

Those receiving an Institute grant are encouraged to save their receipts and submit a reconciliation form at the conclusion of the meeting. The purpose of submitting a reconciliation form is to avoid taxation for your grant. For those receiving a grant who do not submit a reconciliation form indicating how they spent the money, please be aware that ACA is required to report the grant as income to the IRS along with any other money (like an award) that you may have received from ACA during the 2024 calendar year.

A Reconciliation Form will be provided with your grant funds. Please remember that your reconciliation form and appropriate receipts are due by June 17.

For your reference, here are the descriptions of categories. Some of these categories will be applicable to your situation and some will not.

Transportation

  • Airfare
  • Van/Taxi (to/from airport)
  • Mileage (ACA policy is 54 cents/mile)

Lodging

  • Receipt is required. Please add a note if you are sharing the room.

Meals & Per Diem (ACA Policy $57/day)

  • Receipts are not required
  • Breakdown of $57
    • Breakfast $10.26
    • Lunch $12.54
    • Dinner $34.20

Other Travel

  • Tips/Gratuities (Receipts are not required)
  • Airport Parking
  • Airline luggage fee
