Part 2

Navigating Ethics and Law in Counseling

This lesson explores the interplay between ethical standards and legal obligations in counseling. A specific focus is given to the counselor’s preparation for court involvement, addressing dual roles and ensuring objectivity in forensic evaluations. Through this lesson, counselors develop the skills to balance ethical integrity with legal compliance in complex professional contexts.

Part 3

Sections of the ACA Code of Ethics

This lesson highlights the ACA Code of Ethics as a vital resource for professional counselors, delineating the ethical standards necessary for competent and responsible practice. This framework is crucial for building trust, enhancing client well-being and preserving the integrity of the counseling profession.
