All applications must be submitted by completing the online ACAF Funding Request, which includes responding to a formal set of questions as well as a producing a preliminary budget for using the requested funds (Appendix 1). The deadline for this round of reviews is January 15, 2020.

- Funds are to be used exclusively for purchasing materials of an educational or therapeutic nature.
- For graduate students, funds may be used to maintain enrollment in a graduate program (e.g., student fees, books).
- No more than 10% of the total requested funds may be used to purchase food supplies, and all food supplies must be directly related to the specific aims of the proposed project.
- Under no circumstances are funds to be used as salary or compensation for anyone connected with the project (including participants or their families).
