In Support of Counselors and Students Seeking a Reduction in Gun Violence

by User Not Found | Mar 14, 2018
The American Counseling Association recently adopted a resolution calling for more school counselors to support children affected by gun trauma.

A link to the resolution is available here.

In addition to the work of professional counselors who deal with clients and students facing gun trauma, ACA is supportive of activities that call attention to this growing crisis in American public education.

On March 24, “March for our Lives” gatherings will take place across the country, organized by many students. If you are interested in participating in such an event, you will find more information online here.
