ACA Communications Director Amber McLaughlin recently spoke with the MinnPost about ACA's partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America in celebration of Counseling Awareness Month.
Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) serves more than 4 million youth members through 4,100 facilities across the nation and on U.S. military installations worldwide.
“We are all about getting society to view mental health with the same acceptance as they do physical health… We wanted to give Boys and Girls Clubs tools and insights that will empower them. Empowerment is at the heart of what counselors do,” said McLaughlin.
