ACA publishes multiple books each year, for counselors by counselors, across a wide range of disciplines. Members receive an annual catalog in the mail and periodic emails announcing new releases.
Many ACA books are also available in digital versions and may be downloaded in a variety of formats.
ACA publishes the Journal of Counseling & Development (JCD) as well as nine ACA Division journals. All are accessible through the Wiley Online Library. Explore more than 90 years of research or set up email alerts for specific content. Members receive a quarterly email announcing each new JCD.

CT Online is the online counterpart of Counseling Today. Read personal stories about the work of ACA members as well as special online exclusives. Members can also access electronic archives of Counseling Today—great for research!
The ACES-ACA Syllabus Clearinghouse allows counselor educators to share successful syllabi, find new ideas for class assignments, and more. The ACA-ACC Creative Interventions and Activities Clearinghouse invites members to share specific practices they’ve found to be successful.
Through ACA Career Central, an online hub for everything employment, members can search job boards; post resumes; sign up for customized job alerts; schedule career consultations or resume/cv and cover letter reviews; and more.
Members can directly shape the course of the counseling profession through participation on ACA committees, task forces, and the ACA Governing Council. In addition, each summer, ACA hosts the Institute for Leadership Training as an opportunity for leaders and emerging leaders at all levels of ACA (divisions, regions, and branches) to meet, network, learn, and advocate for the profession. Members receive periodic emails containing invitations and instructions for participation.
