Do I need to download or install any information to be able to attend this event?
No. You do not need to download or install any software to participate. You only need to have access to the Internet.
How do I log in on the day of the event?
Your login details will be emailed to you before the event. You can use these details to access the online event.
Where will the event be held?
This is an online event. You do not have to travel to any specific location. You can participate anywhere that you have Internet access. The event is accessible from desktop, mobile and tablet devices. Please use the email address provided at registration and

What can I expect at the Virtual Event?
Over two days, the 2023 Professional Practice Summit will convene licensed professional counselors, students and mental health professionals around the latest news and best practices. In 18 engaging sessions, leading experts will cover topics including clinical supervision, risk mitigation, cultural responsiveness, ethical considerations and more.
Will I be able to take away information and/or slides from the event?
Copies of presentation slides and additional handouts (if applicable) will be available within the session resources tab of each session.
Cancellation and Refund Policies
Due to the length of the virtual event and the ability to access On Demand content available until November 20, 2023, We regret that no refunds will be issued.
Will CE credits be offered for the 2023 Professional Practice Summit?
Yes, CE hours are available on select sessions. Each session listing will clearly indicate if the presentation is approved for CE credit and identify the type of approved CE credit available. A full list of sessions that will be offered can be found on our

How many CE credits will be provided?
Attendees can earn 1.0 continuing education (CE) contact hour for each hour of attendance at select education sessions, up to 15 CE hours.
Will I receive a certificate acknowledging my participation?
Attendance certificates are not issued; however, attendees can claim CE credit for time spent in education sessions during the conference.
How will I receive my CE certificate?
Step 1: Login using your ACA username and password at https://education.counseling.org by December 31, 2023
Step 2: Click Dashboard on the left navigation
Step 3: Click Professional Practice Summit under Course Overview
Step 4: Select the session you attended at the Summit and complete the required Evaluation. Do this for EACH session you attend.
After you have evaluated all the sessions attended, click Transcript on the left navigation to view/print your CE Certificate.
Deadline: Attendees must complete evaluations by December 31, 2023, in order to receive CE credit.
How can I connect with a speaker or presenter?
Some presenters have opted to share their contact information within their session handout(s). For keynote speakers, we recommend reaching out to them via their social media channels.
