The 2022 American Counseling Association
 Conference is a Must-Attend Event

The American Counseling Association Conference & Expo is the premier professional development and networking event for licensed professional counselors, students and mental health professionals. This year we are heading back to face-to-face to connect, engage, and learn — April 7-9 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Reasons to Attend

By registering for this year’s 2022 Conference, attendees will have the opportunity to earn 15.5 of continuing education credits over the course of two days.

Connect | Engage | Learn

Professional counselors find their way to the profession in a multitude of ways. Regardless of how they get here, they all have a deeply felt calling to help others.

Registration (Opens February 1, 2022)

Registration Capacities
Due to 6ft physical distancing and safety concerns, ACA will only be able to provide a limited number of registrations to the 2022 Conference & Expo. Unlike previous years, we will only be able to admit 1,750 attendees and registrations will be granted on a “first come, first serve” basis.

Currently, ACA is exploring options for a separate virtual conference to take place in fall 2022.  The ACA Annual Conference & Expo in April is a distinct event and will not have a virtual component. If a separate virtual conference is scheduled for this coming fall, the two events will have separate costs and registration guidelines and will not be interchangeable.

COVID-19 Requirements

  • Vaccination requirement: Full COVID-19 vaccination is required for all registrants, guests, and/or conference participants. ACA uses the CDC definition of full COVID-19 vaccination. We're currently working to identify an automated vaccination verifying service, and more information will be shared well in advance of April.
  • Face masks requirements: Properly worn face masks are required while in all ACA Conference spaces, which include but are not limited to: meeting rooms, the exhibit hall, the registration area, the bookstore, and shuttle buses. Any conference participant not wearing a face mask will be asked to leave the conference.
