Call for Nominations for Committee Appointments
Accepting Nominations for 2018 ACA Committees on Oct. 1, 2017.
ACA President-Elect Simone Lambert is seeking nominations for American Counseling Association committee appointments. She will be appointing professional members to each committee who will serve three-year terms, as well as a student representative to each committee who will serve a one-year term.
Positions on the following committees will be available beginning July 1, 2018: Awards, Branch Development, Bylaws, Ethics, Graduate Student, Human Rights, International, Professional Standards, Public Policy and Legislation, Publications, and Research and Knowledge.
ACA members may nominate themselves or be nominated by other ACA members. Nominations are due by 5:00 pm Dec. 1, 2017.
Please note that ACA Bylaws and Policies and Procedures require:
- All Committee members must be members of the American Counseling Association.
- All ACA committee members are expected to attend the ACA Conference at their own expense and to participate in the committee meeting at conference, if scheduled. No expenses will be reimbursed by ACA.

- Submit an application.*
*All applications must be submitted via the online form. Mailed/emailed applications will not be accepted. Nominations are due by 5:00 pm Dec. 1, 2017.
