North Atlantic Region

The North Atlantic Region, a region of the American Counseling Association, represents professional counselors who live and practice in the north atlantic part of the US, as well as the District of Columbia, Europe, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

There are 10 states in the North Atlantic Region: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. ACA members who reside in any of these jurisdictions and belong to the ACA automatically belong to the ACA North Atlantic Region.

  • Tax Bill Compromise Under Way

    The House and Senate have approved different versions of tax reform and now the conference committee is preparing to release the final compromise version, which both houses must then pass before the measure goes to the President for signature. There has been a strong effort to move these bills through the legislative process in order to put a bill on the President's desk by December 25.
