Ask Congress to Include Medicare Coverage of Counselors in Health Care Reform!

Decision Being Made on Counselor Provision in Health Care Bill

House and Senate leaders are putting the finishing touches on health insurance legislation, and time is running out to push for inclusion of Medicare coverage of counselors as part of the package. ACA is working to make the case for counselor Medicare coverage inside the beltway, but we need counselors to call House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and their Representative and Senators to ask that this be included in the final legislation. We need as many calls as possible to go in to these offices over the next few days!

You can identify your Senators and Representative by clicking on the "Elected Officials" tab on our http://capwiz.com/counseling website. Speaker Pelosi's office and Majority Leader Reid's office can both be reached by calling the U.S. Capitol Switchboard at (202) 225-3121 and then asking the operator to connect you.
