Library of Congress (Thomas Jefferson Building)

Newseum

The Newseum is a museum that offers centuries of news history, up to the second technology and hands on experiences. Through the many exhibits, theaters and start of the art studio, the Newseum has fulfilled its mission to bring the media and the public together to gain a better understanding of each other.  At the Newseum you will get a behind the scenes view of how and why the news is made.

Spy Museum

The Spy Museum is the only museum in the world solely dedicated to espionage. Many of the objects displayed in the museum are being seen by the public for the first time. By viewing video clips, reading top secret documents and engaging in interactive exhibits, you’ll learn how spies have carried out the most secretive missions in the world.

Supreme Court

The Supreme Court is our nation’s final arbiter of the law and as such is charged with ensuring the American people the promise of equal justice under the law. The Court also functions as the guardian and interpreter of the Constitution.  Come learn more about the Court, it’s commitment to the nation and why it must endure.

Guided tours of the Supreme Court are not offered, visitors are encouraged to tour the building on their own and take advantage of a variety of educational programs available during their visit including Courtroom lectures, a visitor’s film and exhibits. US Capitol Visitor Center

The United States Capitol is a monument, a working office building and one of the most recognizable symbols of democracy in the world.  The US Capitol Visitors Center is the newest addition to this historic complex. At nearly 58,000 square feet, the Visitor Center is approximately three quarters the size of the Capitol itself. All are welcome to come to the Capitol Visitors Center and visit the exhibition hall, gift shops and restaurants.

No passes are needed to visit the US Capitol Visitor Center however if you plan to take a tour of the historic US Capitol Building a pass is required. Tours of the US Capitol must be scheduled in advance through the online reservation system at www.visitthecapitol.gov or through the office of your Senator or Representative. All visitors to the Capitol are required to go through security screening.

DC Duck Tours
