Dear ACA Past, Present, and Emerging Leaders,
On Thursday, July 25th, our collective voices will be heard throughout Capitol Hill!
Professional counselors empower clients and accomplish mental health, wellness, education, and career goals. Every ACA activist participating in ILT will meet with members of Congress and their staff to share personal stories and experiences while linking them to specific policy requests in the area of mental health, school, and career counseling.
The resources listed below will give you the background information you need on priority issues and policy recommendations. Please take the time to review the material under the issue on which you will be lobbying.
We are here to answer any questions or concerns you have. Together, we can strengthen the counseling profession and advocate for greater services for our clients and students!
