Tips for First Time Attendees
We've broken the conference down into five key elements to get you the information you need, and help you make the most of your time.
As you know, attendees can earn up to 17.5 CEs during core conference days by choosing from more than 400+ education sessions organized into 36 tracks.
Need more CEs? By adding Pre-conference Learning Institutes, you can earn up to 35.5! More information will be available soon.
We recommend contacting your state licensure board before the Conference to ensure that they will accept CE credit through the organizations from which ACA has obtained CE approval. Also, check our Continuing Education Credit page to see which organizations have approved sessions for credit, and how to obtain credits.
#2 Other Features Included With Registration
In addition to education sessions and CEs, your registration also includes keynote speakers, a career consultation, access to our one-of-a-kind Expo Hall, new roundtable sessions, a spectacular Opening Night Celebration, the National Awards Ceremony, and dozens of other reception options.
All registrants receive a free ticket to the Opening Night Celebration, and additional tickets for guests may be purchased onsite.
#3 Travel & Lodging
ACA negotiates special discounted rates with hotels near by and with different airlines. More information on travel and lodging will be available soon.
#4 Meals & Attire
We know eating out can get expensive, so take advantage of the welcome reception in the Expo Hall on Thursday, lunch on Friday and Saturday, snacks at the National Awards Ceremony, and our amazing spread at the Opening Night Celebration.
The Conference dress code is business causal. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and dressing in layers because the meeting rooms can get cold.
#5 Registration Materials & Onsite Communications
Your registration packets, which will contain your badge and ticket(s), will be available for pick up onsite during registration hours.
The best ways to stay connected onsite are the Conference mobile app and social media.
The Conference mobile app will be available to download before the Conference. All attendees will receive a separate email with instructions in the coming weeks. The app allows you to select two or three sessions of interest for each time slot. This will help you to plan your day and make sure you are able to take advantage of as many Conference offerings as possible.
