Grading Rigor in Counselor Education
30-Minute Roundtable Session
Matthew W. Bonner
There is a gap between counselor education standards and outcome measures or counselor competencies. Outcome measures can provide counselor educators and supervisors with a precise means to grade and evaluate students. This roundtable will provide attendees with the skill to create competencies coupled with assessments that are consistent with CACREP standards. The hope is to build a theoretical framework for rigor in counselor education programs.
