Loyola University Maryland is seeking exceptionally qualified applicants for a one year, 10-month faculty position in the Education Specialties Department's CACREP-accredited school counseling program to begin fall 2014. Responsibilities include teaching 4 courses per semester including supervision of practicum/internship experiences in the school counseling program, advising students, participating in committee work, and fulfilling other duties as assigned. Qualified applicants will have a doctorate in counselor education or a related field, a strong record of university-level teaching, supervision training and experience, knowledge and skills in K-12 school counselor training, experience in the field of school counseling, and a demonstrated commitment to social justice and serving diverse and urban student needs.
