Wounded Warrior Project ™ is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Independence & Long Term Support Program Director that will be responsible for the direction of the Independence and Long Term Support Program and facilitate the recruitment, identification, and delivery of services to wounded warriors in addition to managing program staff. The position will also ensure that WWP’s strategic objectives are met and continue to serve the warrior and caregiver population across the nation.
- Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, or related field preferred, with minimum of 5 years of people management experience required.
- In lieu of Master’s degree, a Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 7 years of people management experience is required, comparable experience in program management or similar fields could be considered.
- Prior experience with high level injuries such as Traumatic Brain Injury or other similar traumatic and severe injury types preferred.
- Experience with injured veterans/military population also preferred.
