Hiring Salary: $93,500+/year, Fulltime, Benefitted, Exempt

This position is located at the University Counseling Center (UCC), an office within the Division of Student Affairs, provides personal, career, and educational counseling for students at the University of North Dakota. In addition, the UCC is an American Psychological Association (APA) training site for graduate students from the Departments of Counseling and Psychology; has responsibility for substance abuse prevention programming; and houses the University Testing Services. The staff of the UCC is active in outreach programming; campus consultation with students, faculty and staff regarding wellness and mental health issues; and has a satellite office in the University Apartment Community.
The Director is responsible for providing creative leadership for the UCC as well as within the Division, supervision of staff, budget management, participation on the Campus Life and Safety Team (CLAST), evaluation and assessment of services, program development, collaboration with other agencies in building campus community, coordination of outreach programming, the provision of direct services for students, and research. The Director of the UCC is a member of the Vice President for Student Affairs Council and a member of the Health & Wellness Directors’ Team.

- Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. in counseling psychology or clinical psychology.
- Five years of postdoctoral experience.
- Three years post-licensure.
- Must be able to obtain professional licensure as a psychologist in North Dakota.
- Successfully pass a criminal history background check.
- Experience supervising professional staff.
- Budgeting and research experience.
