OHIO - WALSH UNIVERSITY - Assistant Professor, Tenure-track, CHD Program


 Walsh University is seeking applicants for  Assistant Professor (Tenure-track) in  Counseling and Human Development  Master's track in Student Affairs in Higher Education (new program area specialty with emphasis in Multicultural Affairs/Diversity Education).

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will teach core counseling courses and specialty courses in Student Affairs; participate in assessment, ongoing curriculum development, grant development, international teaching, and advising; maintain an active scholarship program with a multicultural emphasis; and provide service to the community, university and professional organizations commensurate with educational background and experience. As a Master's program, Counseling and Human Development has an orientation toward teaching and service.  

Requirements

Candidates must have an earned Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision (preferred area: Higher Education/Student Affairs) or closely related degree with strong counseling background; minimum one year experience in Student Affairs or Higher Education programming; and graduate counseling teaching experience. Strongly preferred: graduate teaching or training experience in Student Affairs in Higher Education and Multicultural Affairs/Multicultural Counseling or Diversity Education.  For more detail and to apply please visit https://walshjobs.simplehire.com.
