Tenure Track – Fall 2014
Applicants must have an earned doctorate in Counselor Education or closely related field; ABD will be considered but must show evidence of completion prior to appointment.
- Teach graduate courses within the counseling program.
- Advise graduate students.
- Work collaboratively with faculty across disciplines.
- Contribute to curriculum and course development and commitment to innovative teaching technologies.
- Serve on departmental, academic, and university committees/assignments.
- Perform professional and scholarly research.
Preferred
- Doctorate from an accredited institution in Counselor Education or closely related field.
- Documented experience in training counselors or counselor educators.
- Documented success in teaching graduate courses in counselor education.
- Documented success in supervision of graduate student interns.
- Professional licensure as a counselor.
- Evidence of scholarship with publications and research agenda.
- Experience with web based instruction.
- Experience teaching courses in diversity and/or substance abuse
