Marist College invites applications for a part-time Assistant Director of Center for Advising and Academic Services to provide administrative support and coordination for student advising services and help to execute policies and programs that enforce academic standards at Marist College. The Assistant Director reports to the Director for Advising and Academic Services and works closely with School Deans, Department Chairs, Registrar, Faculty and Academic Advisors, Mentors, Student Financial Services, and other units within Student Academic Affairs. Specific duties include providing training and continuing support for faculty and staff engaged in advising relationships, assigning academic advisors and tracking caseloads and feedback trends, conducting exit interviews for official withdrawals/LOA for the College and aiding in the preparation of advisor and advisee newsletters. A Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) and three years of experience in higher education with an emphasis on student advisement/support programs required.
