The University of Texas at Tyler Department of Psychology and Counseling invites applications for a tenure-track position in school counseling, counselor education, counseling psychology, or closely related field for our Master of Arts in School Counseling Program. Responsibilities: (1) teach online graduate courses in school counseling and related areas of counseling (2) develop scholarship refereed publications, obtain external funding; (3) provide service to the field and profession,; (4) advise, mentor, and provide supervision to graduate students, and (5) develop cooperative relationships with school counseling public school personnel. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a professional identity as a counselor educator and commitment to the professional field of counselor education. Certification and experience as a school counselor, online experience, and graduation from a CACREP program are preferred. Minority candidates, those having experience with diverse populations, and with supervising counselors in the public school system are especially encouraged to apply.
