Primary duties include teaching graduate level courses in the Master of Arts Clinical Mental Health program. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in curriculum development, teaching graduate courses areas such as crisis intervention, addictions counseling, drugs, alcohol and substance abuse, theories of counseling, multicultural counsel practicum/internship, clinical supervision in counseling. The individual must be able to engage in academic advisement and, have the ability to interact positively with students, peers, administrators, and others. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable of CACREP standards and assessment processes.
- Earned doctorate in counselor education or counseling psychology.
- Licensed professional counselor.
- Preferred qualifications: LCADC, SAC, NCE certification, Approved Clinical supervisor.
- Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
