Assistant Professor of Counseling
The Division of Counseling and School Psychology at Alfred University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Counseling, beginning August 2013. We seek motivated, generous, and self-aware applicants with a good sense of humor and the potential for excellence in teaching, scholarly activity, and graduate-student advising. Qualified applicants will have a doctoral degree in Counselor Education (ABD candidates will be considered). The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching core and specialized courses in the Master’s degree School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling tracks. Applicants with particular preparation, interest, or experience in School Counseling are especially encouraged to apply. The counseling program is currently seeking CACREP accreditation.
