Assistant Professor of Counselor Education
Winona State University (WSU) invites you to join our Community of Learners as an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education. This is a probationary (tenure-track) appointment starting Fall 2013 with primary duties assigned to the Rochester, MN campus with teaching and other duties as assigned on the Winona campus. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for: 1) coordination of the Addictions Counseling Certificate Program; 2) teaching Addictions Counseling Certificate Program curriculum and other courses as assigned; 3) supervision of addictions counseling student internships and research; and 4) coordination of the WSU curriculum and supervision requirements for licensure in Minnesota as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). If you possess a Ph.D. in Counselor Education or related discipline by 8/19/13, a minimum of two years of clinical experience in addictions counseling, graduate level pedagogy in addictions counseling, and post-secondary teaching experience in addiction counseling, we encourage you to apply.
