IUPUI CAPS is excited to announce openings for two clinical staff members. These are NEW positions and open to individuals with a master’s degree or higher. 

The Clinician will provide direct clinical service to IUPUI students (counseling and assessment), participate in outreach and programming, contribute to clinical training, and serve the department, division, and university through consultation and participation on committees. The primary role of direct clinical service will include individual, couple, and group counseling, as well as contributions to assessment, evaluation, and testing as determined by training and experience. Contributions to clinical training may include didactic presentations, session observations, and clinical supervision of graduate students. Additional service to the campus community will include participation in crisis response. All staff also contribute to the strategic planning of the Department.

Minimum Education: This staff member must have a master’s or doctoral degree in a clinical mental health field, and be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Indiana within the first 6 months of employment.

Minimum Experience: This staff member must have completed clinical training experiences consistent with licensure requirements and at least two years of post-degree supervised clinical service. Experience in a college counseling center is strongly preferred.

A demonstrated commitment to working cross culturally is required.  Psychologists must have experience administering and interpreting tests of cognitive ability, academic achievement, and psychological functioning.
