INDIANA - IUPUI (Case Manager Position)

CASE MANAGER

IUPUI is excited to announce a new position of Case Manager to support the functions of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and the Behavioral Consultation Team (BCT).  The primary clinical role at CAPS will include facilitation of student referrals to campus and community resources, oversight of client and case disposition, crisis intervention, and consultation and support of staff therapist’s activities. The Case Manager will support the efforts of the BCT by processing incoming reports, gathering collateral information, coordinating communication among the case consultants, managing case resolution, and compiling reports of team activities. All staff provide service to the department and campus community through training and participation in crisis response, contribution to committees, and support of Division and campus strategic initiatives. 

Minimum Education: Master’s degree in mental health, social work, or related field and license to practice in the area of mental health or social services; license eligible in Indiana.

   Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience, including:

•             Working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

•             Assisting individuals in accessing mental health and social services.

•             Providing risk assessment and safety planning with individuals experiencing psychological crisis.

•             Working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
