The Mental Health Treatment Clinician is responsible for providing therapeutic services and quality assurance to Mental Health, Substance Abuse and other services, which comprise individuals who experience severe emotional disturbance and other co-occurring disorders.
The Clinician may provide some clinical consultation and training. This position works under general supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health Services. This position will obtain certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor within one year.
Masters Degree in human services field with a preferred concentration of study in counseling, social work, psychology. Minimum of three years experience in the social services field and minimum of two years experience counseling adults and children who experience emotional disturbance, mental illness, and/or developmental disabilities. Prefer credentials in substance abuse.
