This job posting is for two clinical positions to be located in Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and/or Jasper counties.
Coastal Empire CMHC is an approved site of the National Health Service Corps (NHSC), which offers student loan repayment of up to $60,000 to employees of NHSC-approved sites. You must be a US citizen, you must be licensed to practice in the state where you are hired, and you must have unpaid government or commercial school loans. There is a two year service commitment required as well.
Provides direct clinical services to children, adolescents and their families in the clinic/school setting. Provides assessments, crisis management, individual, group and family therapy as needed. Insures documentation of all services provided following established standards.
Provides consultation/education activities and case management on behalf of our consumers to community agencies as requested.
Participates in weekly team staffings with other mental health professionals, as well as attend and participate in C&A Staffings as scheduled.
Provides consultation and assists in coordination of hospital admissions and placement of children and adolescents. Provides follow-up after discharge.
Participates in school related activities such as PTO’s, classroom presentations, and other extra-curricula-related activities in support of client (student) relations.
Provides other related duties and limited consultation/educational activities in the community upon request and approval by supervisor.

Minimum and Additional Requirements:
State Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and professional experience in human services or social services program.
Agency Requirements: Master’s degree in a social science and 2 years of experience in a clinical counseling program. Must be a licensed mental health professional in the State of South Carolina or be VERY close to becoming licensed in the state of South Carolina.

Must be very computer literate. Experience in electronic medical records preferred. Spanish as a second language a plus.
