Easter Seals Crossroads is a community resource working in partnership with children and adults with disabilities or special needs and their families to promote growth, independence and dignity.
The Licensed Clinical Therapist Will Do The Following:
• Conduct initial evaluation and client intake interviews: assess consumer and presenting problems.
• Develop, implement and modify, as necessary, consumer treatment / behavior support plans.
• Carry out Case management services related to the consumer’s treatment.
• Maintain an active caseload, providing intervention including psychotherapy, clinical support, and behavior support service within the area of expertise and limits of credentials. Ensure procurement of additional services as needed.
• Serve as a resource to Easter Seals Crossroads staff.
• Maintain consumer and program records in accordance with applicable standards, regulations, and grant requirements.
• Monitor caseload to assure compliance for third-party payors, including chart-review, completing prior authorizations and pre-certifications.
• Provide clinical supervision to assigned staff; as needed, co-sign clinical documentation and treatment plans.
• Demonstrate daily the values of: Respect, Quality, Inventiveness, Consumer/Family Focus, Perseverance, and Integrity.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements include: Master Degree from an accredited program and licensed to practice in the state of Indiana as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). The preferred candidate will have experience with developmental disabilities/disorders (with an emphasis on autism), behavior intervention, children and families, and working as a part of an interdisciplinary team. The Licensed Therapist will provide direct clinical/behavioral support services for individuals with autism and their families
