Requirements: Must have a minimum of a Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field. Candidate must have a least two (2) years experience working with individuals living with chronic and persistent mental illness, substance abuse and/or HIV/AIDS.
Reports to: Clinical Director
The responsibilities listed below describe the primary functions of the employee, but are not to be considered exhaustive of all the functions that the employee may be required to perform.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the implementation of project activities
• Establish and maintain coordination with other agencies
• Plan and provide counseling and training to the consumers
• Facilitate educational presentations
• Responsible for program staffing and evaluations
• Supervise and coordinate the scheduled activities of the staff and its volunteers
• Responsible for insuring that all trainings required by the grantors are successfully completed by staff.
• Establish and follow mechanisms for maintaining consumer confidentiality
• Ensure that all necessary data collection forms and reports are forwarded in a timely manner
• Assist in ensuring update and accuracy of clinical files
• Responsible for providing individual therapy sessions of programs consumers, as necessary
• Represent the agency at community meetings/functions
• Maintain compliance with Local, State and Federal funding agencies
• Conduct regular, periodic audits of program files
• Communicate with and adhere to funding entity’s requirement as outlined in funding agreement
• Complete all appropriate documentation required to manage client’s care
• Develop promotional material to advertise and promote the goals of PBHI
• Other duties assigned by the Director of Programs
