Description: Cape Ann Adult Behavioral Learning Center is a five-day-per-week recovery and rehabilitation-oriented program. It is designed to assist adults who suffer from life-altering consequences of mental illness. At Cape Ann, participants enroll in classes and activities that specifically address three aspects of recovery: managing unwanted symptoms and behaviors, reconnecting with or discovering the things that add pleasure, meaning, and value to life, and developing the connections, supports and skills to establish meaningful roles in society.
We are seeking a Case Coordinator for our innovative psychiatric rehabilitation program with strong components of DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Wellness, BU Psychosocial Rehabilitation Model, CBT and Mindfulness-based treatment. Demonstrated abilities to work with adults with major mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders required. Duties include leading groups and classes in the above areas, curriculum development, individual counseling, case coordination, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and supervision of activities in the therapeutic milieu. Excellent supervision and training opportunities.
Requirements:
Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Art Therapy or Occupational Therapy or related field. License or certification is preferred. Valid driver’s license required. Monday-Friday 8:30am-4pm
