Loudoun County's Department of Family Services is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full time Foster Care and Adoption Family Services Specialist to provide case management to children and adolescents placed in out-of home care and their families.

Responsible to be on-call (day and night) for the entirety of time with crisis client. Responsible to be on-call during rotating weekends. This position is one that goes out into the community to provide temporary housing and other various services needed for crisis stabilization. Provide brief treatment, crisis counseling, intervention, and stabilization services to clients experiencing an acute mental health and substance abuse dysfunction. Conduct pre-screening, treatment planning, and service coordination on a regional basis.

Trinity Washington University seeks a Clinical Coordinator for the counseling program. Nearly 80% of Trinity’s students reside in the Washington, D.C. region, and about 90% are African American and Hispanic.

Requires: A Masters' degree in rehabilitation counseling, counseling and guidance, social work, nursing or related behavioral science fields. Employee performs professional counseling work with disabled individuals. Identifies potential problems in returning clients to the working community. May meet with employers to develop programs to modify jobs or find alternative employment for injured workers.

Clarksburg Treatment Center, a member of CRC Health Group, is an outpatient substance abuse treatment facility serving patients afflicted with the disease of addiction specifically to the opioid class of drugs. Our facility has openings for a full time Addictions Counselor. The qualified candidate will work closely in a team environment with a team of clinicians, medical personnel, and office personnel in accordance with State and Federal Regulations to provide care for our patients.

Employee interviews clients to obtain information on the history and severity of their addiction. Is required to develop and maintain successful collaborative contacts with local mental health agencies. In conjunction with treatment team, plans discharge of client by determining after-care activities, continued counseling, and living arrangements conducive to continued sobriety and recovery.
