This counselor also serves as a liaison between the child and the court and is always an advocate for the best needs of the child. The Youth Villages Foster Care Program uses intensive in-home based treatment where interventions are parent focused bringing change through the family, school, community, and peer groups.

The limited term counselor’s responsibilities include providing individual, group, and couples counseling services to a diverse range of GC students on personal (psychological and mental health), academic, and career concerns to facilitate their adjustment and growth. The limited term counselor will maintain documentation of services. The employee will develop and lead structured groups, workshops, presentations, and other counseling outreach programming.

The Coordinator of Clinical Services responsibilities include providing individual, group, and couples counseling services to a diverse range of GC students on personal (psychological and mental health), academic, and career concerns to facilitate their adjustment and growth, and maintaining documentation of those services; developing and updating clinical policies and procedures for Counseling Services; maintaining and updating the electronic scheduling and data management system; and scheduling coverage of emergency services.
