The position responsibilities include: teaching 6 graduate-level CACREP courses per year (3 per semester); developing and carrying out a well-developed and productive research agenda in clinical, supervision, and/or education issues in the counselor education and pastoral counseling fields that involves the integration of spiritual/religious themes with cutting edge counseling and psychological practice; serving on dissertation committees; serving on department and university committees; and academic advising of master's and doctoral students.

The persons chosen must have an earned doctorate in counselor education from a CACREP accredited program and be eligible for license as a LPC in the State of North Carolina. Experience as a counselor in either an educational or agency setting is desirable. Candidates should have a strong desire and potential for excellence in graduate and undergraduate teaching related to counseling and human services.

WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY’s Department of Counseling is seeking two Assistant Teaching Professors of counselor education beginning January 1, 2014.

The interdisciplinary Department of Human and Organizational Development (HOD) continues its open search for a tenure-track or tenured position in school counseling and invites applications for the position.

The Professional Counseling Program at Texas State University-San Marcos is currently seeking to fill a tenure-track faculty position at either the Associate or Assistant level.

Trinity Washington University seeks a Clinical Coordinator for the counseling program. Historically known as Trinity College, Trinity today is a small university with 2,700 students enrolled in four academic units, including more than 1,000 students in the full-time daytime undergraduate women’s college, and three coeducational professional schools offering a range of undergraduate and graduate degrees in evening, weekend and online formats. Nearly 80% of Trinity’s students reside in the Washington, D.C. region, and about 90% are African American and Hispanic.
