National Awards

Recognizing Outstanding Achievement Since 1956

Each year, the American Counseling Association recognizes and celebrates achievements of counseling professionals who have distinguished themselves professionally, as well as through service to others.

The ACA 2016 National Awards Call for Nominations closed on November 5, 2015.

All nominees and nominators will be notified of final decisions by mid-January, 2016.  Award decisions are based on the criteria and requirements outlined in the nomination guidelines. 

The National Awards will be presented at a gala ceremony during the ACA 2016 Conference & Expo in Montreal, Canada, on Saturday, April 2nd.  Award recipients and their nominators will receive invitations to attend the awards ceremony at the Conference.
