ACA Library

The ACA Online Library is a special benefit to ACA members that offers access to publications developed by ACA to meet the needs of counselors. The online library also provides access to a database of ACA journal articles (Counseling Today and Journal of Counseling & Development) and ACA archival material.

ACA-ACES Syllabus Clearinghouse Collection

Looking for fresh ideas for presenting a course? Need to develop a new course fast? Preparing your first syllabus? Want to share a successful syllabus? Make your contribution to the community of counselor educators! You and your university will benefit from the professional recognition and exposure. Get your Gemeinschaftsgefuhl on! As the good Dr. Adler said – and we paraphrase: "The road to mental health is helping others."

The American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES) have partnered to launch the ACA-ACES Syllabus Clearinghouse. This unique resource was developed to help counselor educators enhance the development of their courses in an effective and efficient manner. We are inviting you to assist us by contributing your syllabi to the clearinghouse. Your syllabi will be searchable by author’s name, college/university, syllabus title, key words and category.

Journal of Counseling & Development Collection

JCD CoverACA is pleased to provide another useful member benefit—free online access to the Journal of Counseling & Development (JCD), ACA's quarterly flagship journal. Full text articles are available free to members. The complete online collection of JCD, is fully searchable by author, title and keywords to assist you with your research and writing.
