ACA Pushing Hard for LPC Coverage

A lack of time and available money late last year prevented Congress from passing any substantial reforms to many of Medicare's antiquated policies, including the identification of licensed professional counselors as service providers. A new report from the National Center for Educational Statistics finds contemporary parents setting high educational attainment goals for their children. Medicare Coverage of Counselors Uncertain

Last December Congress left for the year having passed a few nominal reforms to the Medicare program.  One of those reforms postponed a 10% cut in physician reimbursement for six months.  However, a lack of time and available money prevented the Congress from passing any substantial reforms to many of Medicare’s antiquated policies.
