ACA Foundation's Graduate Student Conference Scholarship Awards for the ACA 2010 Annual Conference
More Scholarships and a Grand Prize Scholarship
For the ACA 2010 Annual Conference in Pittsburgh, the ACA Foundation is making a bigger effort than ever to ensure that more counseling graduate students will be able to attend and benefit. In addition to the Graduate Student Lounge and New Professional Center in the exhibit hall at the Conference, and special ACA Foundation sponsored program sessions for graduate students, the Foundation will be awarding an increased number of Conference Scholarships to cover the registration costs for deserving counseling graduate students.
The increased opportunities for graduate students has come about through the creation of the Gerald and Marianne Graduate Student Scholarship Fund. This Fund has been established through the generosity of Dr. Gerald Corey, a keynote speaker for the ACA 2010 Annual Conference, and his wife Marianne Corey. They have established this Fund to help ensure that more graduate students will be able to benefit from Conference attendance, both this year and in years to come.
A special change to this year’s Conference Scholarship Awards is the creation of a Grand Prize Scholarship that will include not only the cost of Conference registration fees, but also three nights at one of the Conference hotels for the March 2010 Conference.
Conference Scholarship Awards are limited to ACA members who are current students in counseling graduate programs at an accredited college or university, and who will be first-time Conference attendees. Full rules for the Scholarship Awards are available by clicking on the Rules link above.
